Jing Fan

Jing Fan, aged 17, has studied violin for 14 years. Under the current direction of Rebecca Henry, she is enrolled at the Peabody Institute of the John Hopkins University as a pre-conservatory student where she performs in the Pre-Conservatory Violin Program. She has worked with many masters, including violinists Kristof Barati and Vadim Gluzman, and she has placed in competitions such as the International Best Mozart Competition and the Weaver competition. She enjoys playing duets with her little sister and she tutors young violinists and violists in her free time.
